North Leitrim AC athlete Luke Fitzmaurice
NORTH Leitrim AC athlete Luke Fitzmaurice won a bronze medal at last weekend’s 123.ie National U20 Indoor Athletics Championships in Athlone.
He finished in the Bronze medal position after an eventful 3000m race walk last Saturday.
Tuam AC’s Matthew Newell was the race winner in 12 mins 55.34 secs, with Mullingar’s Andrew Glennon crossing the line second, and Fitzmaurice third 14.24.96.
