The Dock continues its partnership with the Irish Film Institute (IFI) Schools Programme, linking films and moving image culture with the post-primary curriculum.
The programme supports film in school curricula and promotes film literacy for children and young people. The Little Gang / La Petite Bande (2022) is set to be on The Dock screens on March 14 at 11.30am.
The film tells the story of four young teens in rural France who have a plan to stop the local factory from polluting their local water supply and help raise awareness about climate change.
The young gang-turned-activists want to carry out a late-night attack on the factory when things do not go quite to plan.
This French family comedy will have you rooting for the mini climate activists despite their crimes.
Directed by Pierre Salvadori, The Little Gang / La Petite Bande is a French-language film with English subtitles, and the accompanying guide can be found at ifi.ie/studyguides.
Admissions are €5 per student (teachers go free). Please contact The Dock's Box Office for bookings at 071 965 0828.
