Daycare centre at Our Lady's Hospital, Manorhamilton closed
Councillors received a response in relation to the closure of the daycare centre at Our Lady's Hospital, Manorhamilton saying that there are three councillors on the Regional Health Forum West and that all health service queries will be dealt with through the forum's meeting.
Cllr Mary Bohan said she felt this was a "dismissive response" and "ridiculous" and suggested writing to the HSE once again.
Cllr Felim Gurn said there has been no forum meetings for the past four months.
Cllr Bohan said it was "a very very sneaky way it was done; closing for Covid and then converted into offices."
Cathaoirleach, Cllr Justin Warnock, who raised the motion, also said the response was dismissive.
Cllr Padraig Fallon said the response was "definitely not good enough and the message needs to go back from the municipal district that all of us here receive representation from the people who were attending the clinic and every councillor has brought it up at this stage."
