Conor McGregor has said he "was a white belt in acting" in a recent interview alongside Road House co-star Jake Gyllenhaal.
McGregor had his acting debut in his new movie Road House where he features alongside many famous faces including Lukas Gage and Post Malone.
Road House follows ex-UFC fighter Dalton played by Gyllenhaal who takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse, only to discover that this paradise is not all it seems.
McGregor expressed that "everyone on set was very patient with me," while Gyllenhaal explains how he was impressed when McGregor told him "I am a white belt in this and I am here to learn."
The pair spoke about the "intense game of mixed martial arts", while McGregor asked Gyllenhaal for a spot to star alongside him on Broadway.
McGrergor said "I can do a cameo. I can play a tree."
Fans have reacted to the softer side of McGregor, one user took to TikTok to say: "Conor is a good guy when he’s being HIM. Not putting on the show or anything."
You can stream Road House now on Amazon Prime.
