A powerhouse trio featuring world-renowned singer and flute player Nuala Kennedy with Clare fiddle maestro Tara Breen (The Chieftains) and cutting-edge guitarist Tony Byrne (Danú) is set to play at The Glens Centre next Saturday, April 13, at 8pm.
Nuala is recognised worldwide as an exceptional interpreter of traditional song. She has also worked with American indie poet Bonnie Prince Billy, Mike Scott (Waterboys), Norman Blake (Teenage Fanclub), and others.
Tara Breen is a gifted multiple all-Ireland-winning fiddler, and Tony Byrne is noted for his inventive guitar style.
In high demand as much for their diverse repertoire of songs as their virtuosic instrumental skills, this versatile trio will collaborate tonight with the beautiful singer Aoife Hammond.
