Leitrim Hill Creamery has been named County Enterprise Award Winner and Finalist in the National Enterprise Awards 2024.
The Award was presented with the County Award by Chief Executive (Interim) of Leitrim County Council, Joseph Gilhooly and Cathaoirleach of Leitrim County Council, Justin Warnock, in the Landmark Hotel on April 9.
Leitrim Hill Creamery produce delicious, fresh artisan hard and soft goat cheese products from their goat farm in Carrick on Shannon, fostering connections between the land, the community, and tradition.
They partner with local farmers to innovate and create other artisanal dairy products following their sustainability ethos and employ eight staff in their growing business.
The County Leitrim Enterprise Award is given to businesses that have demonstrated exceptional innovation, entrepreneurship, and outstanding customer service in their respective fields. L
Leitrim Hill Creamery was chosen as the recipient of this Award with a prize fund of €3,000 in recognition of their dedication to continued innovation, sustainability, and growth in their business.
In addition to this honour, Leitrim Hill Creamery has also been named a national finalist in the National Enterprise Awards 2024 where they will compete against 30 other finalists from across the country for a share of the prize fund of €35,000 and the prestigious Overall Winner Award.
This year's categories include 'Best Export Business,' 'Green/Sustainability,' and 'Innovation,' in addition to 8 Regional Awards.

Winners of the National Enterprise Awards 2024 will be announced at a national awards ceremony on May 23 in the Mansion House, Dublin.
