Death notices in the Leitrim area - Thursday, April 18

Jimmy Keegan, Drumroosk North, Foxfield, Leitrim

Peacefully, in the tender care of Ballinamore Nursing Unit. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary, his brothers Gerard and Sean and his sister Phyllis. Deeply regretted by his sisters Marie, Chris and Detta, brothers Brendan and Noel, brothers-in-law, sisters -in law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Patrick (Pat) Higgins, Cattan, Mohill, Leitrim

Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents; Paddy and Cissy (Mary) Higgins.  Sadly missed by his brother; Phil Higgins, sisters; Mary Higgins, Ann Leddy, Bernadette Bourke, Veronica Daly sister-in-law; Edel Higgins, brothers-in-law; Eamon Leddy, Tom Burke and John Daly, nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Anne (Anna Mae) Murtagh (née Keegan), Walkinstown, Dublin / Leitrim

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at home; Beloved wife of the late James, loving mother of Fiona, Seamus, Noeleen, Bernadette and Patricia, a much loved granny of James, Aoife, Andrew, Mathilde, Brendan, Maedbh, Ava, Emily and Aaron and cherished sister of Lily (Grealish, New York) and the late Johnny and Jimmy. She will be forever loved and very sadly missed by her loving children, daughter-in-law Angela, sons-in-law Alex and Brendan, grandchildren, sister, sister-in-law and best friend Brigie, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, her loving carer Gabby and friends.

May their gentle souls Rest In Peace.
