LATEST - McGloin gets massive Drumshanbo vote

Latest from Leitrim.

Fine Gael candidate and outgoing councillor Enda McGloin is assured of a return to Leitrim County Council with a massive vote in his home town.

The Drumshanbo man took a huge 521 votes out of the three Drumshanbo boxes, leaving him standing on 950 votes (21% of the vote).

Brendan Barry sits on 792 votes and Paddy O'Rourke on 512 before the Carrigallen and Aughavas boxes are even opened.
