Until now, the Manorhamilton tally figures were only 96% complete

A Leitrim tally sheet on the loose has been retrieved and it paints a clearer picture as to the tallies as they stand.

As written on our live blog, the Kiltyclogher tally sheet has been found, it is understood the tally sheet was left in a car by mistake.

Until now, the Manorhamilton tally figures were only 96% complete.

The updated tally is due to soon be at 100%, and there will be another update with a clearer view as it stands.

It seems Independent Eddie Mitchell, Sinn Féin's Michelle Brennan Shyabo and Fianna Fáil's Justin Warnock are in the top three for that tally box with 33, 27 and 21 respective tallies.

As the first count is set to get underway close to 3pm, the ballots are first to be mixed before counting commencement.
