Breffni 3 Province Challenge to take place on Saturday, August 3

2024 marks the 23rd anniversary of the Breffni 3 Province Challenge

The Breffni 3 Province Challenge 2024 will take place on Saturday, August 3 in Arva.

This year marks the 23rd anniversary of this event and it aims to be bigger than ever, bringing our participants on scenic routes through the three Provinces of Ulster, Connaught and Leinster.

This year funds are being raised in aid of The Friends of St Luke's Dublin, The National Breast Cancer Research Institute Galway and The Cavan/Monaghan Cancer Homecare Association. To date the Breffni 3 Province Challenge event has raised well over €1 million for charities, with participants from every county in Ireland as well as abroad.

There are distances available for all abilities, Half Marathon (Chip-timed), 10k (Chip-timed), 7k and 5k routes. Participants under the age of 12 are only allowed on the 5k.

Also included are the 30k, 50k and 100k cycle routes for those who prefer two wheels to two feet!

All of the events start and end on the market square in Arva, with refreshments available afterwards.

Very nice t-shirts are available for all early registrants, and medals for all finishers. A raffle will also take place for a Trek road bike.

Links to the registration site and further information about the routes can be found on our website www.breffni3provincechallenge.com or at www.Facebook.com/breffni3pc/
