Sligo road users were left stunned after witnessing a driver swerving erratically on a major road as the vehicle.
The car ended up close to hitting other cars numerous times as it swerved into the opposite lane of traffic, which appeared to be busy.
In the video seen below, a car can be seen drifting far across the road's central double white lines with its rear lights flashing.
The overtaking is prohibited on the stretch of road, but to make matters worse oncoming cars are just metres away at times.
The car appears to be on the N4 national primary road in Co. Sligo during the dangerous incident. Viewers commented that the video occurred on Friday.
Gardaí have been contacted for comment.
