Six of the victorious New York LGFA team with local links.
Leitrim was well represented at the John West Feile Peil na nOg last Saturday in the Connacht Centre of Excellence in Bekan, Co Mayo.
St Mary's Kiltoghert and Annaduff were flying the flag for the boys, while the Annaduff girls were competing in Ballygar.
But there was another very strong local connection to Leitrim in the form of the New York LGFA team who won the competition.
Six of the girls have very strong links to this area.
