The former Breffni Holiday Village Complex in Dromahair is up for sale for €1.5m on DM Auctions.
The complex comprises a hotel, restaurant and ruins of O’Rourkes Castle.
The site is approximately 4.7 hectares or 11.6 acres.
The hotel section called The Lodge is a three-storey house with four bedrooms on the ground floor.
On the first floor, there are two two-bedroom apartments and two one-bedroom apartments on the second floor.
Additionally, there is a separate one-bedroom apartment located at the rear of the building on the ground floor.
The apartments are all separate with their own electric and heating system.
There are also eight two-storey three-bedroom houses which were built in 1983 and 1984. There is one block of four houses together and two blocks of two-semi detached houses.
Furthermore, there are six one-bedroom chalets built in the early nineties.
On the site, there is also a French restaurant built in 1978/1988. Included at the restaurant is its own separate entrance and car park.
DM Auctions have described the site as a ‘prime investment opportunity.’ It is an attractive location, with a town centre location and the River Bonet meandering through the site with fishing and shooting rights.
The site includes an historical element too, with the ruins of O’Rourke’s Castle and O’Rourke’s banqueting hall.
All buildings are currently in a poor state of repair and are in need of complete refurbishment.
Viewings of the property are by appointment only.
