Ballyshannon Fire Station is preparing to host an Open Day on Saturday 2nd November, with families from across Leitrim and Donegal expected to attend.
The event will take place from 12 – 4pm at the fire station near Slevins Department Store on Market Street, and offers "fun for the whole family".
The busy day will allow children and adults to meet their local firefighters, and guided tours of the station and firefighting equipment will be provided.
Fire safety advice and demonstrations will also take place at the station.
A sensory hour will take place from 12.00 – 1.00pm, where sirens and flashing lights will not be used for display purposes.
There is free entry for the event, and no prior booking is needed to attend.
