I stand for change and renewal for the North West.

Our region has huge potential. Abundant natural resources, an immensely talented population. What don't we have? Public representation up to the task.

Leitrim should be a fantastic place to live, work, raise a family. The neglect shown to the region means we are not achieving our potential.

Cost of living is too high.

There is a lack of essential public services at local level. People have to travel and pay privately for services that should be delivered locally by the State. Autism assessments, disability services, respite care, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, mental health services, cancer services should be readily available in Sligo-Leitrim.

Lack of Government investment in transport infrastructure, housing and public services, means young people from all across Leitrim are moving away to live and work.

Young families struggle with the demands placed upon them.

Parents trying to juggle careers while sourcing necessary childcare and school places for children, particularly parents of children with additional needs.

The current system isn't working. Labour has a plan to change this.

I will be a strong, consistent voice to deliver on housing, childcare, healthcare, transport and climate for Leitrim.
