Sligo-Leitrim Count 10: Feighan just over 300 votes from election

Count 10 was declared before 6:30pm on December 1, and we are finally nearing the first election in Sligo-Leitrim-South Donegal constituency.

Frank Feighan (FG), is just 317 votes from meeting the quota for election standing at 11,064 votes. Martin Kenny (SF), made the biggest gains on distribution votes from Paddy O'Rourke, likely aided by their shared Leitrim roots.

Kenny got 1,020 votes from O'Rourke's distribution, currently standing at 9,947 votes.

He is anticipated to be the second candidate elected in this constituency.

Edel McSharry (FF) was eliminated in count ten with her 6062 votes to be distributed in the next count.

Outgoing TD Marian Harkin (IND) is 447 votes in front of Chris MacManus (SF) and 167 votes behind Eamon Scanlon (FF).
