Tributes have poured in following the untimely death of Patrick Curran of Fenagh, County Leitrim.

Patrick sadly passed away on Sunday, 26 January. His death has come as a shock to everyone in his community of Fenagh where he lived and worked.

Many have taken to share touching tributes to Patrick online and express their sympathies with his family.

The majority of those tributes recognise Patrick's devotion to his family and community as well as his kindness to others.

On his RIP.ie notice, one person wrote: "Such a kind heart and great outlook on life. He’ll be missed dearly."

Another shared: "He was a man that didn't just talk the talk but walked the walk with a big smile and positive attitude. A great man on any committee."

In tribute to his unwavering dedication to his community, the Leitrim Development Company kindly said: "Thank you, Patrick for all the hard work and dedication to the Fenagh community and the Rural Social Scheme. We will think back so fondly of you. Your legacy is everywhere to be seen."
