Eileen Judge was from Drumshanbo in Leitrim
Tributes have poured in for Leitrim woman Eileen Judge who passed away on the 19th of February 2025.
Eileen lived in Rathfarnham and formerly of Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim, and she passed away peacefully at home.
She was predeceased by her parents Ellen and Thomas, and her brother-in-law Owen Healy.
Eileen will be sadly missed by her sister Frances Healy (née Judge), her cherished nieces and nephews Mary Ellen (Healy) and husband Robert Stachura, Sheila (Healy) and husband Andrew Smith, Allyson Healy, Angela Healy, Jason Healy and wife Carrie, Jonathan Healy and wife Rachel, her grandnieces and nephews Olivia, Kara, Aiden, Siena, Brooke, Alana, Landon, Ronan, Dylan, Samantha, and Adeline, her best friend Gladys and the Guckian family, and all her extended family, friends and neighbours.
Heartfelt messages have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and fondly remembered Eileen, with one mourner writing,
"On behalf of my mum Celine Stack I would like to convey our deepest condolences to all of Eileen's family and friends... mum and Eileen have shared many an adventure over the years and were the best of friends.. along with Terry and Angela and Margo.. the gin and tonics in their room brigade during their many bridge weeks away.. may your beautiful Eileen rest in peace.. mum will miss her."
Another message said, "Shelia and family, we are so sorry for the loss of Eileen, she was such a beautiful lady.
It was an honour to have cared for her for so all these years.
she will be missed by everyone.
RIP Eileen".
"On behalf of the Marley Grange Bridge Club I’d like to offer our deepest sympathy to all of Eileen’s family and friends on her recent death. She was a popular and treasured member of the club. Ar dheis De go raibh sí," another tribute said.

Funeral Arrangements:
Eileen will be reposing at the Larry Massey Funeral Home, Eden Centre, Grange Road, Rathfarnham, D16 VO46, on Thursday (February 27th) from 5pm to 7pm.
Removal on Friday morning (February 28th) to the Church of the Divine Word, Marley Grange, D16 H7V2, arriving for 10am Mass, followed by burial in Bohernabreena Cemetery. All enquiries to Larry Massey Funeral Directors, Rathfarnham, on (01)406-1000.
