Gardaí in Leitrim are appealing for information following a reported burglary at a property in Newtowngore last month.
In a statement, An Garda Síochána confirmed, “Gardaí received a report of a burglary at the garage of a property in Newtowngore which took place sometime between 6pm on May 16, and 10pm on May 19.
“Items taken include an industrial generator, heavy duty cable, 25-litre drums of kerosene and rolls of lead.”
Anyone with information regarding this significant theft – whether you noticed anything suspicious or have been offered items matching this description – is asked to contact Carrigallen Garda Station on 049 4339602 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
