ALERT: Gardaí investigating Leitrim burglary and car theft appeal for information

Investigations are ongoing following a burglary in Drumshanbo, sometime between 11pm on August 4 and 8am the following morning, August 5.

ALERT: Gardaí investigating Leitrim burglary and car theft appeal for information

An Garda Síochána are investigating the theft of multiple items during a burglary at a house in South Leitrim.

According to Gardaí, a number of items were taken, including a car.

The incident occurred at a house in Lustia, Drumshanbo, sometime between 11pm on August 4 and 8am the following morning, August 5. During the course of the burglary, the house was entered and several items were stolen.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to come forward as investigations continue.

“Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the Lustia area, or may have information in relation to the incident, is asked to contact Drumshanbo Garda Station on 071 9641002 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111,” Gardaí said in a statement.
