Events will take place at locations across the county such as the Organic Centre, The Dock, The Den, and Manorhamilton Library.
Leitrim Climate Action Week runs from October 13 to October 29. This is Ireland’s largest pop-up climate festival, coordinated by An Taisce since 2017, with Leitrim County Council aligning with An Taisce’s designation.
Leitrim County Council, in partnership with other organisations, and community groups will host a wide range of events, from repair cafés and film screenings to workshops and clean-up days, highlighting local action on climate and a chance for the community to learn.
October 7
Community Services Repair Hub, The Den, Ballinamore, 10am–12pm. Includes a repair café for fixing bikes and mending clothes, plus a swap shop for plants, books, clothes, and toys.
October 13
Clothes Drop, Drumshanbo, running October 13–19 for the Cash to Clobber Fundraising Drive supporting local schools.
