“Cleighranmore is a fantastic facility developed some years ago by Waterways Ireland, this €13,000 is badly needed to provide the necessary changing facilities especially during the summer months when the facility hosts swimming lessons for children. “I would love to see this beautiful location further develop as a swimming amenity in the years ahead, I would like to acknowledge a number of the local parents who highlighted the need for these upgrades and to Leitrim Sports Partnership in their roll in putting forward the application to Healthy Ireland”, said Cllr McGloin.
