The Leitrim Volunteer Centre proudly hosted the Leitrim Volunteer Awards 2025 on Friday, 21 November at The Glens Arts Centre in Manorhamilton, celebrating the exceptional dedication of volunteers across the county.

A special video message from Minister Jerry Buttimer, Minister of State at the Department of Rural, Community Development and the Gaeltacht, highlighted the invaluable contribution volunteers make to their communities. Jake Ryan, Principal Officer in the Department, also attended, marking the significance of the occasion.
The ceremony was hosted by Carole Coleman, whose warmth and professionalism enhanced the event. Kevin Harte, Chairperson of Leitrim Volunteer Centre, gave a heartfelt speech celebrating the dedication, compassion, and generosity of volunteers, and congratulated all award winners on their outstanding commitment to supporting local communities.

Brian Farrell captured the event beautifully through his photography, and thanks were extended to the community volunteers and The Grazing Lady for helping make the celebration a success.
Warm congratulations were shared with all the 2025 Volunteer Award Winners, each acknowledged for their outstanding commitment to volunteering and the positive impact they continue to make.
The organisers say the event was a true celebration of kindness, service, and the enduring spirit of Leitrim.
