The death has occurred of Margaret Clews (née Nesbitt), Moher, Dromod, Co. Leitrim, who passed away peacefully at Sligo University Hospital yesterday (Sunday).
Margaret passed away following a long illness and is survived by her husband David and children Ann McDonnell (Kilmacannon), Terry (Rooskey) and Sinéad Overgaard (Rooskey).

Margaret will also be sadly missed by her extended family, sons-in-law Dominic and Ulrik, daughter-in-law Andrea, her adored grandson Danny, sister Brenda Hurdyal, nieces Wendy and Hervin, brothers-in-law, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Her body will repose in St Mary’s Church, Annaduff, on Tuesday from 5pm until 7pm, with Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
The family have asked for family flowers only. Funeral arrangements are in the care of McGowan Funeral Directors, and donations, if desired, may be made to S.H.O.U.T. – the Sligo Hospital Oncology Unit Trust.
Margaret’s kindness touched many people, with condolences flooding in following her passing, one stating that her “goodness will never be forgotten.”

One message of condolence described her as “a breath of fresh air … I will miss her. May her lovely, gentle soul rest in peace.”
Another wrote: “A great neighbour and friend to both my parents. Many hours of chats were had. She always made time to ask how everyone was after we all made our own way in life and moved on from Drumard Railway. May Margaret’s gentle soul rest in peace.”
