There will be scattered showers across Leitrim today, clearing throughout the day, with temperatures ranging between four and nine degrees.
The showers will be heaviest in the late morning and afternoon, clearing into the evening and picking up again tonight and into the early morning.
Despite the wet and somewhat windy conditions, temperatures will remain relatively high with highs of nine degrees and lows of three degrees later in the evening.
Around Connacht, it will be much the same with persistent rain turning heavy at times. In the afternoon, there will be a clearance to drier conditions, with just some isolated showers, and some bright spells will develop from the west later in the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees. Moderate to fresh southerly winds will veer southwesterly and ease with the clearance of the rain.

Tonight will start off mostly dry with clear spells, before scattered showers feed in from the Atlantic and track eastwards. Some of the showers will be heavy with a chance of hail. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees, with moderate to fresh and gusty southwesterly winds.
Meanwhile, tomorrow will have blustery conditions in the morning with a mix of scattered showers and sunny spells. The showers will become more isolated through the morning, giving largely dry conditions for most. Highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees, with moderate to fresh and gusty southwesterly winds easing and backing southerly towards evening.
