Investigations are ongoing following a burglary at a commercial premises in South Leitrim earlier this month.
The incident occurred at approximately 4am on Friday, January 2, at a business located on Main Street Upper in Mohill.
In a statement, An Garda Síochána said: “Gardaí received a report of a burglary at a commercial premises on Main Street Upper, Mohill, Co Leitrim, which took place around 4:00am on 2nd January 2026. Cigarettes and cash were taken. A technical examination of the scene was carried out. Investigations ongoing.”
Speaking on Shannonside FM, Garda Enda Browne said Gardaí are appealing to members of the public for assistance. He urged anyone who was in the Mohill area around 4am on Friday, January 2, and who may have noticed any suspicious activity, vehicles, or individuals, to contact Gardaí.
