RIP: Leitrim village woman remembered fondly following passing 

The death has occurred of Eva Toth at her home in Leitrim Village on Sunday night.

Originally from Hajdúdorog, Hungary, Eva lived in Tullylannan, Leitrim Village, Co. Leitrim for many years.

Eva will be sadly missed and remembered by her family following her sudden passing over the weekend.

She is survived by her partner, Steven; her children, Holly and Tom, Percze Miklósné and sister Andrea, along with a large extended family and colleagues at Sligo University Hospital. She was pre-deceased by her father, Tóth András.

“One of the kindest and most beautiful souls I have ever known. Eva will be greatly missed by me and my family, who got to know her very well over many years,” read one condolence message.

Removal will take place from St. Joseph’s Church in Leitrim Village on Sunday, 22nd, arriving at 5 o’ clock.

There will be a mass of Christian burial for Eva on Monday, 23rd at 11 ​​o’clock, followed by burial in Kiltoghert Cemetery after the ceremony.

For those who cannot attend, Eva’s Funeral Mass will be available to watch here.

The family has asked that the house remain strictly private at this time.
