“Her smile would light up everywhere," read one message that spoke of the pleasure it was to meet her, "Such a beautiful lady inside and out, and loved the bit of devilment in the laughs we had. May Marie's gentle soul rest in peace and may the lights of heaven shine upon her beautiful soul”
It was clear that warmth was something she always had, as messages remembered her from a young age, bringing light to those she met.
“We were great childhood friends and have lovely memories of playing with her in Bridge Street and going to each other's birthday parties. I will always remember her beautiful smile, and although I haven't seen her in quite a while, I used to love meeting her, and we'd always stop to have a chat. Fly high, Marie. “
Marie will repose at The Heritage Centre, Chapel of Rest, Church Lane, Carrick-on-Shannon on Tuesday 24th March from 5 o' clock until 7 o' clock.
