Call for artists as Boyle Arts Festival launches 2026 Arts Trail

Creative call-out as Boyle prepares to turn streets, shopfronts and public spaces into a living gallery this summer

Call for artists as Boyle Arts Festival launches 2026 Arts Trail

Artists from across the region are being invited to take part in the Boyle Arts Festival Arts Trail 2026, with organisers calling on creatives to showcase their work as part of one of the town’s most colourful annual events.

The popular trail transforms Boyle into an open-air gallery, with artwork displayed in shop windows, pop-up venues and unique exhibition spaces throughout the town during the festival.

Festival organisers said the initiative offers artists a valuable chance to have their work seen by thousands of visitors while becoming part of a vibrant community celebration of arts and culture.

Those who have already secured exhibition spaces — or are considering taking part — are now being asked to submit their details for inclusion in the official Arts Trail information sheet and festival map.

The closing date for inclusion is June 12, 2026.

Artists are asked to send details to arttrailboyle@gmail.com, including their name, exhibition location, title of exhibition (if applicable), opening hours if known, and website or social media links.

Organisers also noted that artists must make their own arrangements directly with local business owners or venue holders to secure permission for the use of windows or exhibition spaces.

Full details on the initiative are available through the Boyle Arts Festival website.

The Arts Trail has become a standout feature of the annual festival, helping bring creativity onto the streets while encouraging visitors to explore the town and discover local talent.
