Selection boxes delivered to every child in Bornacoola national school

Christmas came a little bit early for the children in Scoil Mhuire, Bornacoola.

On Wednesday morning last, December 21, Scoil Mhuire, Bornacoola was visited by John and Francis McGuire from McGuire's Gala, Rooskey, with 145 selection boxes, one for every child in the school and one for each staff member.

"As part of the school's Parents Association, we would like to give the lads thanks for their kindness and generosity to the children of Bornacoola, not too many businesses would do something like this.

"The lads were great with the children, they went into each classroom and handed out the treats to each child. They also left one for any child that was not in," a parent said.
