Mary (Mai) Mc Gushin (née Reynolds), Drumard, Mohill, Leitrim - Mary (Mai) Mc Gushin, Drumard, Mohill, Co Leitrim, peacefully at her residence, in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband John Tom sons Christy and Tom and daughter Claire. Sadly missed by her family, daughter Maura (Mannion), sons John, Paul, Willie, Gerry, Mick, Stephen and Ned, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in- law, daughters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at her daughter Maura's residence, Drumard, Mohill (N41 C422) on Saturday, 31st December 2022, from 4.00pm to 8.00pm. Removal to St. Joseph’s Church, Clonturk, on Sunday, 1st January, arriving for funeral Mass at 12.30pm, followed by burial afterwards in Cloonmorris Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Jim Nealon, Lucan, Dublin / Ballinamore, Leitrim - December 29th., 2022 (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family and in the tender care of the staff at Ryevale Nursing Home, Leixlip. Beloved husband of Ann and much-loved father of James, Peter, Paul and Emma, predeceased by his brother Sean; sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren Adam, Aoife, James, Áine, Dylan, Harry and Emily, sister Nellie son-in-law Joey, daughters-in-law Orla, Zelinda and Róisín, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan on Sunday evening (January 1st) between 4 pm and 6 pm. Removal on Monday morning (January 2nd) to St. Patrick’s Church, Esker, Lucan arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by burial in Esker Lawn Cemetery. Mary McNiff (née McLoughlin), Dristernan, Drumshanbo, Leitrim - The death has occurred of Mary McNiff, nee McLoughlin, Dristernan, Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim on Wednesday 28th December. Predeceased by her parents Terence and Mary, her sister Helen, brothers Jim, Ted and Joseph. Sadly missed by sisters Patricia, Bridie and Esther, brothers in-law Pauric and Tom, sisters in-law Mary and Breege, aunt Tess, nieces, nephews, cousins, grandnieces, grandnephews and extended family and friends. Mary will repose at St. Patrick's Hospital Mortuary, Carrick On Shannon on Saturday 31st December from 1 - 4pm. Removal of remains on Sunday morning at 11am to arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Drumshanbo for 11:30 requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
Matthew Gray, Edenmore, Ballinamuck, Longford - Matthew, suddenly but peacefully, at his residence. Pre-deceased by his wife Mary and recently by his brother Rev. Fr. Frank Gray. Matthew will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, daughters Martha and Maura, son Francis, son-in-law Stephen, his beloved grandchildren Matthew and Maria, sister Mary Molloy (Carrick-on-Shannon), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Annie Crean (née Stenson), Greenfield Road, Lisnamult, Roscommon Town, Roscommon / Keshcarrigan, Leitrim - December 26th, 2022; (Suddenly); in the loving care of the staff at the Sacred Heart Home, Roscommon. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Michael, parents Tom Pa and Elizabeth, sister Betty and brothers T.J. and George. She will be very sadly missed by her sons John and Michael, daughters-in-law Rachel and Alison, adored granddaughters Laura, Emma and Anna, sisters Mary and Phil, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends. Removal from the Funeral Home on Friday morning at 10.30 o’c arriving to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery. Marie died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in Milford Care Centre. Sadly missed by her loving husband DJ Coffey, her adored children Lauren, Dylan, Alison & Adam, her mother Madeline, brother John, sisters Olive & Sharon, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces & her many colleagues & friends. John (Johnny) Quayle, St. Patrick's Park, Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim - 27th December 2022 (Peacefully) at Sligo University Hospital. Predeceased by his parents James and Jane, sisters Annie, Lizzie, Susie, Catherine, Josie, Betty and his twin Eva. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sister Peggy (Scotland), extended family, nieces, nephews, neighbours and his many friends. Johnny’s funeral cortege will arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Carrick-on-Shannon on Friday 30th December for Mass of Christian Burial at 12 o’clock with funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Eileen Carty Sunnyside, Garrison, Fermanagh - The death has occurred of Eileen Carty, Sunnyside, Garrison, Co. Fermanagh, peacefully at the South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen. Remains reposing at the family home with a walk through wake on Friday from 5pm to 8pm. House private at all other times. Remains will arrive in Mary, Queen of Peace Church, Garrison on Saturday for 11am Funeral Mass followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only.
