The Leitrim Association London held their 65th anniversary dinner dance at The Clayton Crown Hotel in Cricklewood in London on Saturday, February 26.
Chairman Michael Curry, extended a warm welcome to the 230 attendees. Guests on the night included Chairman of the Leitrim Co Council Paddy O’Rourke and his son Emmett along with Leitrim Guardian Person of the year Pat Gallagher. People traveled from Ireland, Luton and Kent to be in attendance.
President Peter Fee and Life President Pronnsias Redican were present, unfortunately Frank Keegan could not be in attendance and we wish him well. A total of £10,000 was presented to the following charities: Bowel Cancer UK, North London Hospice, Leitrim Association People with Disabilities, Leitrim 2 London Bike Ride, Carrigallen Community Care. Thanks to our valued generous sponsors Tony and Bernadette McGovern.
Thanks to all who donated to the raffle Peter Donoghue (PB Donoghue Group), Sean Mulvey (Teambest), Tom Moffatt (Moffatt Construction), Luton Association. Chairman Mick Curry made presentations to Pat Gallagher and Cllr Paddy O’Rourke.
