Gardai in Bruff are investigating
A PENSIONER is recovering this Monday after the car he was driving flipped over on Sunday evening.
A garda spokesperson said officers are investigating a single vehicle road traffic collision which occurred on the R518 between Kilmallock and Bruree, at approximately 8.40pm on Sunday evening, January 22.
One local reported to Limerick Live that, "There’s a car flipped just on the Kilmallock side of Bruree".
The garda spokesperson said: "The passenger of the vehicle, a male in his 70s, was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injury. Enquiries are ongoing."
Anybody who was travelling on the R518 at that time and can help gardai with their investigation, or who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact Bruff garda station on 061 382940.
