GARDAI have smashed a drug dealing operation in County Limerick after swooping on a property in a housing estate in Bruree.
Gardaí attached to Bruff seized approximately €980 worth of cocaine and approximately €31,000 in cash following the search of a residential premises in Bruree on March 25.
A garda spokesperson told Limerick Live that a mixing agent, scales and other drug paraphernalia were recovered during the course of the search.
"A man aged in his 20s was arrested and taken to Henry Street Garda Station where he was detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
"He has since been released without charge. A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions," said the garda spokesperson.
