Seminar will talk of the future of retail in Limerick

'Future of Retail' will hear from Retail Trend Futurist, Matthew Brown

THE FUTURE of retail will be showcased at a seminar in Limerick city this Thursday.

Hosted by Limerick City and County Council and Retail Excellence Ireland, the ‘Future of Retail’ seminar will take place at the Strand Hotel.

Founder of Echochamber, a creative research agency that tracks global retail trends, Matthew Brown will be the keynote speaker at the event.

As a Retail Trend Futurist, Matthew has travelled the world to seek out the latest in retail innovation and consumer trends, so attendees can look forward to hearing his advice on how to help retail thrive in Limerick.

In addition to his keynote speech, the seminar will also include a panel discussion and question and answer session with key stakeholders in the retail sector.

Cecilia Larkin, Senior Executive Officer with Trade & Investment at Limerick City and County Council, commented: “Matthew Brown's visit to Limerick is timely for retailers seeking guidance on current and future trends. His insights on creativity, sustainability, ethics, and technology integration are highly relevant, making his visit highly anticipated.”

She added: “His expertise and belief in the return of physical retail and its future is valuable. His contributions will undoubtedly be impactful, and we eagerly await his insights on the future of retail.”

The event is aimed at anyone interested in the retail industry and is complimentary and open to current and future retailers, landlords, and developers of retail units.

‘Future of Retail’ will take place at 3pm this Thursday at the Strand Hotel in Limerick city.
