TENS of thousands of people were out and about in Limerick city on Sunday night for the spectacular Riverfest fireworks display.
From Sarsfield Bridge to Thomond Bridge, huge crowds filled every vantage point along the river Shannon for the display which kicked-off shortly after 10.15pm.
The fireworks display is one of the highlights of Riverfest each year with the celebrations continuing at various locations in the city this bank holiday Monday.
