CONCERT-goers heading to see Dermot Kennedy this weekend are being advised to plan their transport and be well-prepared.
Dermot will be playing in Thomond Park this weekend for three nights in a row n July 7, 8 and 9 alongside special guests Cian Ducrot, Nell Mescal and KingFishr.
Concert-goers have been advised to organise their transport in advance and allow an additional 1-2 hours travel time to and from the venue.
There will be two entrances to the concert site. First, the entrance off Knockalisheen Road for the east stand, Gold Circle, Premium Access and pitch standing.
Secondly, the blue entrance on Cratloe Road will be for holders of east/west stand seated tickets, as well as standing tickets for east/west terrace. The blue entrance is also for those with Gold Circle A/B standing tickets and pitch standing tickets.
An accessible entrance for wheelchair users and visually impaired people is located on West Level B.
All parking must be booked in advance, and an event pass is required for access. There is limited car parking close to the venue, which is available to book via evntz.ie
Fans have also been advised to wear comfortable shoes and to dress for Irish weather, as the concert will take place - rain, hail or shine.
Under 16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 25. No under 16 will be permitted in the Gold Circle or on the pitch.
Children aged between 5 and 14 are only allowed in the east and west terraces and stands. Unaccompanied minors will be refused entry.
No bulky bags will be allowed, only size A4 or smaller.
An Garda Siochana and event security will operate ticket checks. All concert-goers will be subject to a search.
There will be catering and bar facilities onsite, no alcohol can be brought in. Water points are also located throughout the site.
People have been advised to not bring animals (except registered working dogs), large backpacks, glass cans and hard plastic or metal, umbrellas, alcohol or illegal substances, professional camera or video equipment.
