Limerick locals could be in with a chance of heading to the Rugby World Cup

Keith Wood,

‘LIVE LIKE a legend’ this autumn, as the International Rugby Experience (IRE) offers a once in a lifetime opportunity via their new competition.

The Rugby World Cup prize will see flights, accommodation, meals and match tickets for the final match of the tournament between Ireland and Scotland in Paris on October 7.

IRE is offering rugby fans between now and August 31 the chance to win a trip to the French capital to experience the knockout stage of the World Cup, which takes place from September 8 to October 28.

To enter, one must post a photo on social media by themselves or with a group of friends or family while visiting IRE in Limerick city while using #IRE2RWC and tagging the Experience.

Former Munster player and IRE board advisor, Keith Wood, spoke about how supporters are ‘key motivators’ during any game: “I was fortunate enough to represent Ireland at several Rugby World Cups and I can say unequivocally that the supporters were a key motivator for us as a team.

“There is no prouder feeling than doing well for your own people, and it would be incredible to send four special fans from the IRE to Paris to roar on Ireland this autumn.

“Visitors to the IRE have been immersed in a world of passion, discipline, integrity, solidarity and respect since it opened, and it’s safe to say all those virtues will be on display at the Rugby World Cup this year.”

This competition is launched on the back of some recent success for IRE, as the building was last month crowned the 2023 Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (RIAI) Public Choice Award winner. The Experience opened in May of this year.
