THERE was a hive of activity in Patrickswell on Sunday as the Limerick Show took place.
Thousands of people clicked through the barriers at Limerick Racecourse as the popular agricultural show once again proved to be a big draw.
Early rain gave way to a pleasant day, as people from all around Limerick and further afield descended on the annual event which dates back to the 1880s.
