MOTORISTS are being urged to take caution and expect delays after multiple incidents have occurred on Limerick motorways this Friday afternoon.
Gardaí are in attendance at the scene of a three car collision on the M18 northbound between Junction 4 at Cratloemoyle and Junction 5 at Cratloe.
Three appliances from Shannon Fire Brigade and four appliances from Limerick City Fire Brigade attended the scene, and ambulance services were also notified of the incident, which took place at approximately 12.30pm this Friday afternoon.
A temporary closure is also in place for the northbound section of the Limerick Tunnel between Junction 2 at the Dock Road and Junction 3 at Coonagh.

Four appliances from Limerick Fire Service also attended a separate incident of a bus leaking diesel on the M7 between Junction 27 at Birdhill and Junction 28 at Castletroy.
No injuries were reported during this incident, which was also attended by an appliance from Newport Fire Brigade.
The Newport Fire Brigade appliance is still in attendance at the scene awaiting the arrival of a spray truck.
