A TEENAGE girl who had been missing from her home in Limerick for three days has been located 'safe and well', gardai have confirmed.
A nationwide appeal was issued earlier this week by gardai after Sarah Hughes was reported missing from her home in the city at around 6pm on Monday.
In an update, issued this Thursday, gardaí confirmed the appeal to find Sarah has been stood down.
"Sarah Hughes, 17 Years, who was reported missing from her home in Limerick city since November 27 2023, has been located safe and well. Gardaí would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance," said a spokesperson.
No information has been publicly disclosed as to the circumstances which led to her being located.
