Louise Cantillon is to present a new lunchtime show on Today FM

LIMERICK'S Louise Cantillon has landed herself a new prime-time, weekday lunchtime spot on Today FM.

Kicking off the New Year in style, the proud Gaeilgeoir will start her new show, which will air from 12-2pm, on Monday, January 8, 2024.

With the news revealed on Dave Moore’s show on Today FM this Thursday, Louise was ecstatic, describing the opportunity as the “biggest break” of her career.

Having already been featured on Today FM’s daytime and weekend schedule since the summer of 2022, the Kilcornan native is no stranger to radio.

“I just can’t wait to get stuck in and have the best fun, play great ceol and use a cúpla focal with the lunchtime listeners. Roll on January 24,” Louise said on Today FM.

The former Irish and PE teacher began her career in radio with Spin South West, while she was still in college, Louise is married to another local celebrity, Limerick All-Star Declan Hannon.
