My Week with Celia Holman Lee: A trip down memory lane

My Week with Celia Holman Lee: A trip down memory lane

Sitting on the panel to discuss the Oscars and how wonderful our Irish talent did on a global stage was a fun experience!

REWINDING back the clock 21 years is not what I expect to be doing on any given day, but I seized a wonderful opportunity of doing so live on television.

Reflecting on my career as a styling expert is something I don’t get to do often, but sharing my experiences with Irish audiences and viewers of the Six O’Clock show was great.

We reminisced on 21 years to be precise due to the upcoming Platinum VIP Style Awards 2024, which are celebrating their 21st anniversary.

That first year I took home the crown as Most Stylish Female - a true mark of recognition, as the awards were hugely prestigious that year particularly being the only award ceremony of its kind in the country at the time.

Reflecting on how it shaped my career and looking back on that special moment, it really was a standout point in my life in the fashion industry.

Not only did it boost my confidence and career, but it showcased what style and talent Limerick had to offer, too.
I am always grateful when asked to feature as a guest on Irish television.

Presenters Brian Dowling and Katja Mia made me feel at ease from the moment I stepped on to the set. As you can imagine, it can be nerve-racking at times delving into your life on-screen.

I also threw my hand at being a part of a panel talking about the Oscars and the superb recognition we have received for Irish actors, producers and directors.

What fun we had discussing that, too!

I hope everyone had an incredible long weekend and St Patrick’s Day.
