EMERGENCY services responded to an apartment block fire in Castletroy over the weekend.

The fire was reported at 1.12pm on Sunday afternoon at an apartment block in Glantán, Castletroy.

Four units in total from Limerick Fire and Rescue and Cappamore Fire Station attended the apartment fire along with An Garda Síochána.

There were no reports of injuries following the incident.
