Appeal for witnesses after fire causes 'extensive damage' to Limerick property

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a fire incident, which caused 'extensive damage' to a property in Limerick.

The incident occurred at a property in Wolfeburgges outside Rathkeale, on Friday, May 31. 

Gardaí and local fire services attended the scene at approximately 8.45pm. 

A spokesperson for the garda said that "extensive damage" was caused to the property. 

The scene was preserved overnight and visited by the Divisional Scenes of Crime earlier this morning.

No arrests have been made at this time.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
