Investigations are said to be ongoing by gardaí
GARDAÍ are investigating an alleged assault in a Limerick village earlier this week.
The incident, which occurred in Pallaskenry, is said to have been reported to gardaí on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
In response to a query sent by Limerick Live on June 18, a garda spokesperson replied: "We are making enquiries with the local on this."
In response to a further query sent to the Garda Press Office, this Wednesday, a garda spokesperson responded: "Gardaí are investigating an alleged assault in Pallaskenry, County Limerick that was reported to gardaí on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.

"Investigations are ongoing. No further information is available at this time."
Precise details of what happened are unclear but it's understood there were no serious injuries.
