Search for missing teen stood down following garda update

A TEENAGER missing for the last two days has been found, gardaí have confirmed.

Lee Freeman, aged 14, who was missing from Cappawhite, CoTipperary since Sunday, July 7, was "located safe and well" according to local gardaí.

They added: "We would like to thank the public and media for their assistance".

Lee's mum wrote in a Facebook post that Lee is home safe.

"Thank you to everyone who went out searching the past two days and giving up your time, and to everyone for your tremendous support and prayers and shares. I am absolutely over the moon," she wrote.
