IT’S TIRING work serenading thousands of Limerick fans of a Saturday night, but pop star Paulo Nutini was able to enjoy a good night’s sleep afterwards in one of the county’s luxury hotels.
The Scottish singer-songwriter whose hits include ‘Candy’ and ‘New Shoes’ rested his head in the early hours of Sunday morning at The Dunraven Arms Hotel in picturesque Adare.
“Delighted to have @paolonutini stay with us and we hope he has a fantastic time @thomondparkofficial tonight,” posted the hotel on their social media accounts on Saturday evening.
The message was accompanied by a photograph of the singer with the hotel’s proprietor Hugh Murphy.
The music sensation from Paisley had fans eating out of the palm of his hands over the duration of his gig at Thomond Park.
During one of his catchier hits - New Shoes - some fans even took off their own shoes and waved them in the air.
Nutini’s concert followed hot on the heels of Snow Patrol who wowed crowds with their avalanche of hits on Friday night, and tonight, Sunday, it's the turn of the bad boy of rock, Liam Gallagher, to rock the home of Munster Rugby.
