A male teenager was taken to University Hospital Limerick for after an alleged assault in Co Clare.
The young man was taken to UHL for treatment.
Gardaí are investigating the alleged assault, which occurred at around 2.30am in Lahinch, Co. Clare.
Another teenager has been arrested and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda Station in the West of the Country.
