Gardaí and Limerick Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene
EMERGENCY services attended a house fire in Limerick city in the early hours of this Tuesday morning.
The gardaí are investigating the incident at Markets Field Terrace on Mulgrave Street which occurred at around 5am.
The fire service were alerted to the blaze at 5:02am.
Three units from Limerick Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene, before returning to base at 5:43am.

Responding to a query from Limerick Live, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána confirmed that "Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of an incident of criminal damage by fire that occurred at a property in Garryowen, Limerick city this morning at approximately 5am".
"No injuries have been reported and no arrests have been made."
The spokesperson also confirmed that "investigations are ongoing".
